He worked as a Consultant Ophthalmologist and Micro Phaco Surgeon at Dr. Agarwal's Eye Hospital Chennai, where he routinely performed 2.2 mm Phaco and implanted premium intraocular lenses like multifocal and toric IOL.
He was a Phaco surgeon at Lions Eye hospital Parasia, Chhindwara (M.P), did community eye care services, including eye camps and high volume surgeries.
